Sweet Snuggles in Summer Blog Series: Part 2

Hi Readers and Crocheters!!

I’m doing it again!!

If you have no idea what I am writing about SEE THIS POST HERE FOR MORE

I had no intention of doing this series again, but when fortune calls you answer!!

have had over 60 skeins of HiMalaya Dolphin Baby #6 yarn and can’t wait to use it all!!  HiMalaya Dolphin Baby yarn is a beautiful micro polyester and so soft!! It is 131 yds per skein.  I did not order this yarn but came across it locally from a lady getting rid of her stash, but you can find this yarn online.  The skeins do not have the color name on the label, so I won’t be able to give you the exact color match, but if you order this yarn just order the color that you prefer for each pattern in this series.  This yarn is labeled a #6 but it does work up a bit smaller than Sweet Snuggles Lite yarn or Chenille Home Slim.

This series will include some of my past favorites, but also some new ones so stay tuned!!  I will link them ALL IN THIS POST AT THE BOTTOM.

If you are familiar with the Sweet Snuggles Lite yarn that I have used in the past series, this yarn is very similar, but I do prefer it more.  It sheds less and comes in so many more colors.

So, let us get started today!!

And don’t you even think about tossing out those SCRAP YARN BALLS because this yarn is expensive and we are using it all!!  You will find many patterns below that I have used every single scrap I had.

First up is this adorable chick.  She is one of the ORIGINAL PATTERNS that started it all.  You can find her pattern HERE on my blog, but also in MY ETSY or MY RAVELRY.

I have used some vintage cartoon safety eyes that I ordered on her.

You can use any color on the chick pattern to make the sweetest birds!!  UPDATE: THEY ARE BLOGGED

You can use the basic body pattern and also make a simple baby doll.

Next up is this adorable duck!! She can be found ON THE SAME BLOG POST AS THE CHICK or also in MY ETSY and MY RAVELRY.  I have also updated the bill in my Ravelry and Etsy PDFs.

You can switch up the colors on the duck pattern to make a Mallard or (Perry) Platypus!!

And while you are making all of those cuties, this ROOSTER is a simple modification to them.

He was already on my blog, but I did update HIS POST WITH LINKS TO HIS PDF AND PATTERN.

And last for today, but nowhere near last in this series is this sweet little piggy.

SHE IS NOW A FREE PATTERN ON MY BLOG

Okay, that is all for now

UPDATE A FEW DAYS LATER:

COMING SOON:

Doesn’t everyone need a Hippo to squeeze?  What a great Christmas Gift “all I want is a Hippo for Christmas.”

She is coming soon!!

My BUNNY PATTERN is already on my blog.

Find the Adorable Turtle with Backpack Shell ON THIS POST

The Monkey is NOW BLOGGED.  SEE THIS POST FOR HIS PATTERN.

The Whales are an older pattern, and I have updated the PDFSEE THIS POST FOR MORE

The Kitties are the real OG!!  FIND THEM HERE.

I have made the snakes from scrap yarn, and the pattern is from my CROCHET TOYS SERIES.  Find the pattern S is for Snake HERE.

The little octopus rattle toys were all made from scrap yarn and they are the same pattern AS THESE OCTOPUS TOYS HERE ON MY BLOG.

You can find ALL THINGS COWS ON THIS POST.

You can find the UNICORNS AND HORSE ON THIS POST that was already on my blog.  The PDF has now been updated for this yarn.  This one is every little girls favorite!!

I will just go ahead and put this image here BUT they will not all have a pattern.  The pooh inspired bear is my BEAR PATTERN in pooh colors, but his friends are free handed from my basic body pattern.  The donkey is the basic pattern with the horse muzzle and the pig the basic body pattern alternating colors with more pointy ears. There are so many things you can do with this basic friendly pattern.

Here is another cutie that I ALSO DON’T HAVE A SPECIFIC PATTERN FOR but, he is the basic body pattern with a round nose and a loop stitched mane.

Happy Crocheting and I will be back soon with an update to this post so save this post and come back soon!!!

XOXO, Kristi
