Hi friends, readers and crocheters!!
Let me start by saying THANK YOU for popping over. I hope your year is off to a great start!!
I don’t know about you, but at the start of each year after cleaning up from the Holidays, I feel this intense need to PURGE!!! I want to clean and organize and start the year fresh!!
What this usually means in my office, is gathering all those random scrap balls of yarn that I have left lying around after knitting scarves and beanies for months.
Through all my many years of crocheting, this remains one of my favorite ways to use my scrap yarn!!
CROCHET BALLS WITH ME THIS YEAR!!
You will find more information and inspiration and THE PATTERNS ON THIS ORIGINAL POST.
For each month this year, I will be crocheting a COLOR-INSPIRATION set of balls and sharing them here. I am hoping to have a whole ball pit soon!!
January:
The colors that I think of for January are minty blues and greens, purples and white and silver!
Don’t forget those snowballs!! You can make the most fun “snowballs” from a white furry yarn.
Some of the new chunky chenille type yarns are perfect for these soft playballs.
Add in those white metallics for a fun pop of sparkle!
February:
February is the month of LOVE!!
What other colors would you use?
February is full of reds and pinks!!
It is the color of kisses and sweets!!
In one of my earlier posts, I shared this fun VALENTINES Edition of these balls with the pattern for the Kiss and Heart.
Stay tuned…I am just getting started.
What do you think March will bring? Think GREEN and gather those scrap yarn balls.
I have a new way for you to support my FREE PATTERNS!! I know many or most of you love supporting us makers – the truth is that is takes a long time to create a pattern and then write it and then edit it and get it proofed and tested – and then publish it – then you have to link it everywhere – it’s a lot of work, but us makers do what we do to share our love with you. And, if you have followed my blog, you may know that I do not run ads on my blog, so all my support comes from PDF purchases. Some of you don’t need to purchase the PDF of my patterns but still want to say a quick Thank you – so, you can now support my blog and my work.
