This is a FULL CROCHET PATTERN KIT THAT CONTAINS EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO MAKE EVERYTHING IN THE PICTURE.

Your kit – or a kit for a gift – WILL/MAY CONTAIN:
-The color printed 11 page PDF pattern. US terms.
-10 balls/skeins of 100% cotton in 10 colors. The colors may vary slightly. For example you may get sea breeze and mod green or beach glass and teal. I will list exactly the materials for each box below.
-2 crochet hooks (size G and H) *some boxes do not have these for a few dollars less. Please read carefully below if you want the hooks.
-a Yarn needle and stitch marker *some boxes do not have these for a few dollars less. Please read carefully below if you want the hooks.
-10 faux leather labels with the numbers 1-10
-10 stress/squeeze balls to fill the head *these will vary from box to box.
-a bag of polyfill for the large octopus
-18mm safety eyes for the large octopus. These colors will also be variable. Please read each box description to see what color eyes are included in each box.

The Story on why I came up with this kit:
This is one of my most popular patterns in my Etsy Shop and one of my most pinned pins on Pinterest back to my blog.
As far as finished products go, it is also one of my best sellers locally. I was thinking about making up another big handful to put in my local shop for Easter this year and thought it would be fun to make a rainbow of colors…then that got my wheels turning and I envisioned this learning set with numbers to teach colors and numbers together. And, well, one thing led to another and this is what I came up with.
I reached out to my favorite Etsy Shop for the number labels (All This Wood) and realized that I could order 20 sets of numbers – but, I didn’t want to make 20 sets of these adorable guys because that is a lot! That started me thinking about putting together a kit with everything you need to make these.
I also started shopping locally for the cotton yarn. I wanted to make all the colors and that was a huge problem! I have 2 local stores that carry this cotton yarn, but one store might have 2 colors and the other store might have 3 colors, but they might only have a few in stock. And, I didn’t want to pay full price for each ball of yarn! So, I searched online for cotton yarn and same story – one store had some and another store had some more. That really got me thinking: if I was having so much trouble finding what I wanted with 2 craft stores pretty close to me, what about those that are not local to any craft stores? Or what about those staying home right now instead of traveling? I put to use my skills at shopping sales and using coupons and gradually built up enough stash through stores sales and online sales and couponing to offer these kits at THE BEST PRICE that I could offer. I wanted to not only bring you savings, but eliminate the need for trying to find 10 colors of cotton and everything else you need to make these adorable guys!!
You get the FULL KIT to make everything in the pictures above for one pretty low price -considering all that is included.

What a fun nursery gift this would be! Color and number learning and so much fun!
Being 100% cotton this is also a nice baby teething toy. The tentacles can be dampened and frozen for baby gums.
