Crochet Vintage-Inspired Bunny Pattern

Hi there – Kristi here – thank you for stopping by. <3

NEW BUNNY ALERT!!

How cute are the bunnies above?

When I found this Red Heart Roll with It Mélange, it just made me so happy!! I love all the colors in it and felt that it would make perfect “vintage” looking bunnies.

For these Mélange versions, I used the colors Show Time and Hollywood.  I made all 4 bunnies with 3 cakes – two in one color and one in the other. I only had the smallest two balls leftover.

I recommend making the pompom tails last in case you do run short on yarn.

The small bunnies are single stranded with a size G/4mm and H/5mm hook and the large bunnies are double stranded with a size H/5mm and I/5.5mm hooks. I used the smaller hook for all the body parts and bumped up one size for the ears. Roll with It is 389yds/356m/5.29oz/150g per cake.

This is a fresh take on my CLOVER THE BABY BUNNY PATTERN that is free on my blog.  You can read more about that and get the free pattern ON THIS POST.

The only real difference on the pattern is that for the big 2-stranded Mélange version, I added some extra body rows after round 31 on the body.  I added 4 extra rounds.

On the PDF version in my Etsy Shop and my Ravelry Store, I have all the materials lists and modifications to make all the versions of bunnies seen on this post.

You can also pop on over to THIS POST and read more about the CARON CAKE LATTE BUNNIES

These are all based off the same pattern and all in the same 7-page fully written out PDF.  The updated version has all the details to make all the bunnies you see in this post. Grab the inexpensive PDF HERE IN MY ETSY SHOP or HERE ON RAVELRY

I want to say thank you for all who stop by to support my patterns and my blog.  I have chosen to NOT do ads on my blog (with the exception of my affiliate links) and offer FREE patterns, but please – if you love my patterns and want to say a little thank you- or just have some good small business karma support points- a purchase now and then or a visit to any of my affiliate links really helps.  It keeps this blog going so I can continue to offer free patterns for all to enjoy.  I also purchase a pattern now and then or visit an affiliate link from my favorite blogs and designers.  Thank you
